I started my photography journey with Boise State's Blue Thunder Marching Band after the director asked if I had any experience with photography. I said no, but I could give it a shot anyway. I bought a camera and learned how to use it over the course of the first band camp. Every season I feel that my photos are substantially better than the last.

I occasionally shoot for the Boise Gems, a local drum corps started by members of BTMB. Every season I am impressed by their jump in quality, and I highly recommend seeing them if you can.
